Politics: What is your best argument against the death sentence?

Everyone deserves to live, even the horrible people, i know it may sound wrong but if someone murdered someone, they should definitely be sent to prison with a life sentence, but giving them a death penalty is basically letting them get away with it. The person who murdered another person should rot in jail and think about what they did and live with knowing they are guilty everyday, that's justice in my eyes.
