Can windex ruin a tv?

Ok, so me and my dad are having this argument, our tv has like a fading black mark. I told him it might've just been windex on that seeped into the TV, but he told that doesn't happen period since it hasn't happened to him in 14 years and we own like 5 TVs. So if anyone can help my research go by faster since i really wanna prove it to him and i wanna make it so there isn't a single doubt in his mind, I need a source from the internet that explains exactly how Windex can do this to a tv. But the hard part for me is that it has to be by a proffesional with actually experience with TV's like an elctrician or something. please if you can help i'd really really appreciate it!
