Do you think it's likely a group of 16 yr olds will grow out of their communist beliefs?

I know one is hardcore commie and I don't he'll change, but his friends were trying to act rebellious like normal teenagers when they were 13, but then that one person told them his views on communism, hence why they're communist. Do you think it's just them trying to be rebellious, I mean they don't seem incredibly hardcore about it, they still wear designer clothing and buy expensive phones XD
