My Lower Radiator Hose is puntured and wont hold any liquid. Can I drive it to the mechanic shop?

I already asked this question but, all I got was put duct tape on it, well itz the lower radiator hose and its up under the alternator and noone can get to it. I assume that's why the labor is 460 dollars. I thought it was outrageous but I gotta do what I gotta do. The mechanic shop is two blocks away from my house. What are the consequences of driving the car 2 the mechanic shop? I want to avoid spending more money so don't say call a tow truck!!
