What job do you respect more, police officer or firefighter?

Both are needed in society and they both serve in different ways. Its not about who you respect more but maybe who you like more: ) I notice that firefighters tend to form closer bonds with one another because they live together and therefore tend to be far more compassionate. Police are wonderful as well but are often subject to extreme stress and tense situations. Both needed and both equal.
