I read in some Texas school books that evolooshin was liberal commie propaganda. Is this true?

Its a plausible idea with some evidence to back it up. But it is followed a bit blindly by those that accept it. I think it is probably true. But it does have a few holes that need to be filled in to be a complete answer.
