Why do we need to pay property tax?

Property taxes are used to pay important things such as for funding for schools, street and road repairs, county services such as water treatment and health services. America is not a "commie nation". It may be a struggling nation right now, however it is nevertheless still a great nation. No one likes paying taxes, myself included, however when you study what they actually pay for it falls into perspective and makes sense (even though it hurts the wallet some).
